Culture

Amba School for Excellence being a part of the Dada Bhagwan Foundation, spirituality and character education is an integral part of the culture and is considered as a spiritual home. A student of ASE distinguishes himself / herself within and outside the school by his / her exemplary discipline and courteous behavior - key factors of ‘Gantar’. The code of conduct expected from our students and staff is summarized in one word - ‘RESPECT’- respect for self, for others and for their own and for others’ property. All detailed school regulations are therefore extensions of these three basic expectations.

The day starts with Prayers and ends with ‘Pratikraman’ (seeking forgiveness to others through prayers for one’s mistakes committed knowingly or unknowingly). 'Character education' is also imbibed through the Akram Science program and the annual functions are an extension of the Akram Science ‘Theme of the Year’. It is not only the lessons and activities that are planned, organized and provided while the children are at school but is also the tone, standards, quality, discipline, attitudes and values it puts forward.

Apart from employed staff, the school team consists of many ‘Sevarthis’/‘Brahmacharis’ (volunteers) from India and abroad who excel in their field of expertise and have dedicated their life to the service of mankind; they offer voluntary service to the school for its development. This adds a flair in the purity within the culture.
